Why we decide tomake the difference
eCO2U is more than just an environmental initiative; it’s a movement toward sustainability, community empowerment, and ecological restoration. Our heart is in the soil, our hands in the planting, and our vision is set on a healthier planet.
Our founders – Rafaela Garreta, Vinicius Rossignoli, and Achilles Junior -, each with diverse backgrounds but a shared vision, recognized the interconnectedness of nature, human well-being, and economic prosperity. The decision to make a difference came not just from observing the environmental challenges we face but from a collective desire to contribute positively, actively shaping a more sustainable future.

Who we areOur Company
At eCO2U, we have a different approach to talking about sustainability. We encourage our society to invest in research and development in different areas.
At eCO2u, we are dedicated to pioneering sustainable solutions through cutting-edge Research and Development.
Our mission is not just about planting trees; it’s about planting the seeds of innovation, community empowerment, and global cooperation to cultivate a sustainable future. Join us in this journey of discovery and impact.
- Community-Centric: Every project begins and ends with community involvement. We believe in creating sustainable futures that directly benefit local economies and cultures.
- Science-Driven: Using cutting-edge environmental science, we select the best tree species for each locale, ensuring optimal ecological impact and resilience.
- Technology-Enabled: We leverage technology for precision planting, monitoring tree health, and quantifying carbon sequestration for transparent reporting.
- Corporate Collaboration: We partner with businesses committed to sustainability, offering them a tangible way to offset carbon emissions and contribute to a greener future.
- Restoration of Ecosystems: Successfully implementing R&D initiatives could lead to the widespread restoration of degraded environments, particularly in riparian zones, enhancing biodiversity, and reviving natural water filtration and flood mitigation systems.
- Water Quality Improvement: Projects focusing on river health could significantly improve the quality of water resources, benefiting both wildlife and human populations by providing cleaner, more abundant water sources.
- Community Empowerment: Local communities would gain from economic opportunities created through sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, and potential carbon credit markets. This economic empowerment would lead to improved living standards and reduced poverty.
- Model for Sustainable Development: eCO2u’s success would serve as a case study for sustainable development, encouraging other regions and countries to adopt similar R&D-driven approaches to environmental challenges.
- Innovation in Sustainability: By proving the effectiveness of technology in ecological restoration, eCO2u could spur further innovations in areas like bioengineering, artificial pollination, and precision agriculture.
